I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle but sometimes I don't eat so healthy. I don't eat much red meat at all but I do snack often on Doritos and Goldfish.
I do love to eat my daily apple & banana. I try to drink more water than diet soda. I love to try to be frugal by matching sales with coupons of items that I'd like to purchase. Thank you so much for the chance to win this wonderful giveaway!!

I'm not frugal… or at least frugal enough.
But I I do like to re-use or repurpose things though. I love finding new uses for everything from old coffee cans to making "yarn" from old t-shirts for knitting.

Plan ahead; bring an easy-to-fix dinner if you're working late, keep peanut butter and jelly and a loaf of bread at work, have a healthy snack waiting in the car after activiites

Lots of tips could be shared, but a simple one my mom gave me about eating a well balanced meals to make it look like a rainbow. If you are eating a lot of colors of fruits and veggies every day, you are probably getting all variety of vitamins and minerals you need.
As for the frugal part, I find that shopping every other week really helps me keep under my grocery budget.

Healthy and frugal lifestyle? Well…healthy…breakfast is the most important meal of the day…then I follow with a large lunch, and a bite sized dinner. Salads with protein on top are great. Running and/or some sort of exercise for at least 30 minutes a day…no smoking, no drinking, and LOTS of laughter! Frugal lifestyle? Coupon clipping…giveaways…shopping in discount stores…
jtfilleman@cox.net
I do my best to drink water, water, water. It makes me less hungry and flushes my system.
We're on the run a lot too, and I've found I'm just as satisfied if I order a kids meal as I am if I buy a full size meal.
To keep a healthy lifestyle, I strive to live my life in balance. Balance between work & play; exercise & rest; good foods & snacks

Walking! It's healthy, doesn't require a gym membership, and it's fun and social. Plus, if you can walk to the grocery store, carrying your purchases can be like carrying weights on the way home!

I second the walking! It's a great way to get out and get that vitamin D and to be a good example for the kids!

I maintain a healthy and frugal lifestyle by eating (mostly) vegetarian. I do eat dairy products but not purchasing meat means more of my grocery budget can go towards fruits and vegetables, which are healthier for me anyway.
I have a healthy lifestyle with mostly whole, real foods and avoiding packaged "fake" foods with ingredients I can't pronounce! It's working for me.
I’m offering a giveaway on my blog as well, if you want to check it out. I’m giving away a copy of the book “The Budget Kit” and a 30-minute personal phone call from the author, Judy Lawrence!
Lots of veggies, lots of walking and lots of water. I still enjoy my sweets and treats, sometimes too much. One frugal tip is to always ask for a "rain check" if a store doesn't have an adverised sale item in stock the day you're there. Most supermarkets offer them and you'll ususally have 90 days in which to find the item and be able to get it at the sale price.
I decided that I wanted to eat to live rather than live to eat – I am a much happier person since making that decision!
Living alone, a lot of bargains are on food items too large for me to use up before it goes bad, so I've found friends to share these bulk purchases with. To stay healthy in body I work to stay healthy in mind and spirit as well.
I maintain a healthy and frugal lifestyle by shopping more than one store within a 5-7 mile radius and buy healthy foods. I do this so I can get the best deals at each store. But I can get healthy food too. Healthy food can sometimes be expensive but shopping this way helps me keep my expenses down. I subscribe via email and I confirmed.

Healthy Tip: I try to have fresh fruits and vegetables cut up and ready to snack on. I also invested in some of this very yummy yougurt this week. My husband brought it home for me since he knew how hard I have been working on eating healthy. A frugal tip, we prepare our meals at home and strive not to go out to eat. I guess this would be considered a healthy tip as well.
Also I subscribed to your blog. I am excited to get wonderful frugal tips. Thanks so much and I hope I win. Oh and my email address is linell101@gmail.com

Be aware of sugars! White breads, white rice, and white pasta are all high in sugars that may be dragging you down in energy and overall weight loss goals!
my tip for healthy & frugal lifestyle is to plant a veggie garden. Even if you can't do full scale, using container pots is a great way to get some extra veggies for cheap!

Stop eating when you feel satisfied! There's nothing wrong with not cleaning your plate. I've trained myself, and I never overeat. I don't remember the last time I had one of those "Oh, man, my stomach hurts because I ate too much!" moments.
My tip on how I live a healthy and frugal lifestyle is to always have vegetables on hand to snack.

My tip for a frugal and healthy lifestyle will cost you time. Make things from scratch. Its time consuming but its cheaper, more natural as you won't have preservatives and such in your food, and it tastes better!
