Going out and having a good time does not and should not mean spending a fortune. In fact, it doesn’t even mean paying full price! I shared with you a few months ago a way to get ½ price theatre tickets, as well as ½ price cultural activities. Now, there are a slew of sites you can visit and sign up for a bunch of different ½ price and deeply discounted activities – from bowling to attractions to fine dining!
Here’s a list of those and how they work:
Groupon is a really popular site that brings you a new, random deal every day. You’re encouraged to invite your friends because if enough people sign up for the daily deal, it’ll be “on.” Groupon is available in most major cities and offer different deals in each.
Adility is another great site that brings you big time entertainment discounts in your city every day. It is similar to Groupon in that it requires a certain number of people (usually five) to sign on for the deal to be “on.”
I’m fairly new to Living Social, but I love some of the deals already. It only requires 3 people to sign on for the deal and when you invite 3 friends in on a deal, you’ll get 1 free! Plus, you get $5 Deal Bucks when you sign up and I’ll get $5 Deal Bucks when you buy your first deal.
Half Off Depot offers great coupons and gift certificates for restaurants, shops, and other venues at half the price of the certificate value. The certificates are usually mailed to you, so these make perfect gifts around the holidays.
Half Off Green also offers half price gift certificates like Half Off Depot, however, the focus is on eco-friendly businesses. Also, gift certificates are emailed to you, rather than mailed. I’m still pretty new to this site, but I’m pretty sure most of these shops are in Atlanta.
I’m pretty new to Scout Mob as well, but what sets it apart from the others is that there is no buying anything up front. When you sign up, they will send you the exclusive deals via email (or text if you have an iPhone) and you can feel free to download coupon for free. This site is based out of Atlanta and focuses on local businesses in or around town.

This is so great! I just signed up for Scoutmob and the deal for today (at Gilberts). I love Gilberts and go frequently so this was great. Also emailed 4 of my other friends to sign up for Scoutmob.
I've been using Half Off Depot for over a year and use it every month. It's so hard to decline the daily deal! Plus, they are now letting you print your coupon so you don't have to wait for it to come in the mail.
Thanks for all you do for us Atlanta Couponers. I get your email daily!!
