Upromise has now loaded their new E-coupons for the month of January! For those of you who are unfamiliar, Upromise is a FREE service that allows you to save money for college through everyday activities, including grocery shopping, dining out, pumping gas, and more!
The Upromise e-coupons are slightly different from the other e-coupons in that the value of the coupon goes directly into your college savings account, rather than going back into your pocket. For more on e-coupons, click here.
A few quick notes on Upromise coupons:
• You can use your Upromise coupons in addition to your paper coupons! Again, the savings from Upromise coupons don’t come off the register, but go directly into our Upromise account.
• You can use them at more stores than the e-coupons. Even stores that don’t technically have a loyalty card may have a Upromise savings card. Publix is an example of this.
• There is no limit to how many coupons you can load. However, each coupon can only be redeemed once per month.
• The college savings can be for anyone, including yourself and can be redeemed when you are ready to either invest in a tax free 529 plan, pay down a Sallie Mae student loan, or receive a check for your college expenses.
